I joined Chuck and several of his retired compadres for a Christmas luncheon today. The festivities started with a pre luncheon chat followed by a great lunch! I met several of his fellow retired coworkers and learned about school politics.
There was a 50-50 fund raiser and as luck would have it, the big winner was the fellow who bought tickets right after us!
No complaints here though, we had a nice time, the day was sunny and pleasant and great conversations all around.
